NAPLES, Fla. — Local entrepreneur and marketing strategist Gonzalo Torres-Giusti recently joined host Bill Reiman on The Real Build Podcast to discuss entrepreneurship, digital marketing, business growth and the evolving role of technology in today's business landscape.
During the interview, Torres-Giusti reflected on his entrepreneurial roots, sharing how growing up in a family of business owners shaped his outlook on leadership and business development.
"I've never seen my dad work for somebody else," Torres-Giusti said while discussing his family's entrepreneurial background. He explained that witnessing the challenges and successes of business ownership from an early age provided valuable lessons that later helped him build multiple companies.
After spending nearly a decade in the food industry with his family, Torres-Giusti transitioned back into his original passion for web development and marketing. Today, he oversees several digital ventures, including RC Marketing Group, GT Mediex Design, Naples 2Night Digital Magazine, Biz Mindz Podcast and their parent company, serroTx Media.
Throughout the conversation, Torres-Giusti emphasized the importance of understanding a business before attempting to market it.
"If I was your doctor and I don't know where it's hurting, how can I recommend something?" he said, explaining his company's consultative approach to helping clients identify the most effective marketing strategies based on their stage of growth and available resources.
A major focus of the discussion centered on marketing investment and long-term business growth. Torres-Giusti encouraged business owners to view marketing as an ongoing investment rather than a short-term expense.
"You're never losing when you're spending in marketing," he said. "Just putting your face out there and having people know that you're there creates awareness. You can't beat consistency."
Reiman echoed the sentiment, highlighting how years of consistent content creation and brand visibility have contributed to his own business growth and client acquisition.
The conversation also explored the success of Naples 2Night Digital Magazine, a community-focused media platform that has become one of Southwest Florida's recognizable digital publications. Torres-Giusti explained that the publication's growth has been fueled by a commitment to positive community storytelling and local business promotion.
"We don't want to expose the businesses that close in Naples; we want to expose the businesses that open in Naples," Torres-Giusti said.
Unlike many media outlets that focus on controversy and negative headlines, Naples 2Night has intentionally built its audience around uplifting local businesses, community events and entrepreneurial success stories.
The interview concluded with a discussion about artificial intelligence and business automation. Torres-Giusti explained how AI is helping businesses streamline operations, automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
"If you only have 24 hours, and you keep adding more things to your day, you're going to burn out at some point," he said. "AI plays a huge role in helping businesses automate and save time."
Reiman noted that AI continues to transform industries at a rapid pace and suggested the topic warrants a dedicated future episode.
As the episode wrapped up, both entrepreneurs emphasized the value of consistency, relationship-building and adapting to new technologies as critical factors for long-term success.
For Torres-Giusti, the formula remains simple: stay visible, continue building meaningful relationships and remain committed to delivering value to the community.
