NAPLES, Fla. — Naples 2Night, one of the leading media platforms in Naples, Florida, is set to become the first fully AI-automated digital magazine in the region. The outlet, which covers business, community, and entertainment, is owned by four local entrepreneurs — Gonzalo Torres-Giusti, Rodrigo Torres, Cheyenne Torres, and Johanna Torres — who have prioritized positive, community-focused news over the more common negative headlines dominating the media landscape.
“We intentionally took the harder route,” said Gonzalo Torres-Giusti. “Instead of focusing on what divides or shocks, we highlight the best of Naples — its people, businesses, and entertainment. It’s not always the easiest way to grow an audience, but it’s the right way to serve our community.”
In December, Naples 2Night introduced a limited number of AI reporters, and in 2026 the publication plans to expand the technology across its operations. The magazine also plans to automate sales, content creation, and distribution processes, a strategy already 80% implemented over the past two years. Backend tasks such as proofreading, scheduling, and data analysis will also be automated, while human oversight remains for creative and editorial decisions.
“AI is here to help us distribute faster and better,” Torres-Giusti said. “You just have to understand the tool. Our AI reporters aren’t meant to fully replicate humans. They’re avatars designed to bring information to the community efficiently and effectively.”
Naples 2Night is supported by two marketing agencies also owned by its founders — RC Marketing Group, a strategy-driven firm, and GT Mediex Design, a creative-driven agency. Together, they serve hundreds of clients in Naples and across the country.
“Our focus is growth with AI, giving people the tools to grow while keeping the heart of our reporting human,” Torres-Giusti said. “We’re proud to be the first media outlet in Naples to implement this technology and excited to see how it benefits our community.”
